The co-creator of Call of Duty, the mind behind the globally famous first-person shooter Call of Duty, has tragically died in a car accident in California aged 55.
His passing was announced by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.
The renowned video game developer passed away following his vehicle was involved in a crash and was engulfed in flames on a highway in the Los Angeles area on this past Sunday, according to.
"We are facing a devastating loss, and we stand with his family and friends, those closest to him, and the countless individuals inspired by his legacy," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts said.
