Your Perfect Pokémon Legends: Z-A Mega Evolution According to Your Astrological Sign

The comeback of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense excitement within the fandom. From the gradual reveal of fresh additions ahead of the title's launch, to trainers forming firm views on the entire roster of Mega Evolutions, there's a lot for enthusiasts to anticipate.

With many of the Super Forms showcasing distinctive designs that highlight their traits, one idea came to mind: How can connect this with zodiac signs? The following is inspired by a mix of vibes, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.

Aries – Super Camerupt

Honestly, Houndoom was nearly selected for Aries, as both are the Super Form and zodiac symbol that evoke the greatest apprehension. But, a Mega Houndoom comes across as always furious, which doesn't match the Aries vibe, known for being playful, light-hearted, and impulsive. That's why the Ram far more akin to Mega Camerupt, which solely erupts when angered. Remain on the friendly side of either and benefit from a strong partner; should you offend them, be ready to get burned.

Taurus – Mega Heracross

Much like a devoted Taurus, the steadfast Heracross species, whether in its standard and Mega form, has assisted many trainers in Legends: Z-A. While trustworthy, both the Pokémon and a Bull are also Fighting types, and – be it their companion or a firm belief – will stand up for their side to the end. What about Super Heracross that reminds me most of my Taurus friends, though, is its unashamed passion for snacks. Several past official descriptions mention their craving for tasty sap and how it employs its appendage to hoard it all, which is true Bull-sign vibe.

Gemini – Super Medicham

Observe this absolute queen. You cannot convince me this creature is not the soul of any gathering, offering an endless stream of chatter to anyone who wants to listen. Much like an captivating, gregarious Twins, it's very simple to envision Super Medicham mesmerizing an entire Wild Zone with their tales. Medicham’s official description also mentions its capacity to predict an enemy’s future actions, which seems quite similar to a people-smart Gemini.

Cancer – Mega Manectric

Cancer is widely considered as the most emotional sign of the zodiac, a intense symbol known for often becoming wrapped up in their feelings. Per the Pokédex, Super Evolution charges the creature with a “huge quantity of electricity, but it's too much for Manectric to completely control,” which seems a lot like a classic Cancer emotional outburst. It is also known for its capability to make a storm cloud over its own head – and if there’s a single trait a Crab is likely to do, it’s rain on their good time.

The Lion – Super Starmie

Oh, did you assume I was going to select Pyroar for the lion of the zodiac? Besides the reality that it would be far too obvious, The Lion is obviously Mega Starmie, the diva whose gams just went viral for being extremely fabulous (or horrifying, depending on your taste). Players couldn’t look away from the violet sea star, and that’s exactly the same energy a Leo offers to the scene. Starmie is also rumored to be transmitting radio waves from its center out into the cosmos, and it’s just like a Lion to be putting on a performance, albeit for aliens.

Virgo – Mega Victreebel

The ever-prepared and perpetually-anxious Maiden is ideally encapsulated in Mega Victreebel, the Mega with perpetual digestive issues. The zodiac symbol famous for being endearingly critical is clearly reflected across this Pokémon’s entire lineage, from a perpetually shocked expression like a Virgo when you tell them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its inverted face that’s just like the symbol a Virgo sends to the chatroom when all says they want to “go with the flow” rather than making a plan.

Libra – Mega Audino

Look at this sweet, empathetic creature, who uses the feelers on its auditory organs to detect how people are feeling by their heartbeat. Consistently compassionate – occasionally to a fault – and trying to keep the peace, there are many Scales who would probably benefit from Mega Audino’s abilities. However, to be frank, it would likely just make them stress more about others.

The Scorpion – Mega Banette

This Ghost-type is a creature with a unexpectedly sad backstory: Abandoned as a toy, it became sentient through pure resentment and vowed retribution on its previous caretaker. Per the Pokédex, Mega Evolution, “enhances its spitefulness.” That seems precisely like many discussions I’ve had with my scary Scorpio acquaintances. A Scorpion loves cosmic justice and retribution, making them the ideal match with Super Banette.

The Archer – Super Hawlucha

Both Mega Hawlucha and Archers are always putting on a performance. Being a Sagittarius personally, the amount of occasions I’ve called myself some variation of a “playful small jester” is innumerable. The most flamboyant and most attention-seeking Super Form, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “poses to show off its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Archer counterpart I can imagine.

The Goat – Mega Absol

Did you know that a Super Absol has the ability to predict disasters ahead of time? That exudes the identical energy as a Goat, who often always think they’re right. Interestingly, similar to a visionary Super Absol, they frequently are. It’s also the absolute initial Mega Evolution that players meet in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Goat to get in on the beginning of the Mega trend.

Aquarius – Super Chandelure

Aloof air sign Water Bearer is possibly the non-flame sign that is most like a flame symbol – its counterpart is Leo, and there are numerous memes about Sagittarius and Aquarius being unpredictable accomplices. Mega Chandelure’s dual Spirit/Flame category matches perfectly with this, and the Mega’s overall intimidating presence is also very Aquarius. If you weren’t already persuaded, the Super Form's Pokédex entry says it “absorbs hatred and transforms it into power.” If that fails to perfectly {encaps
